Your Guide to Choosing the Right Park at High Gravity Adventures

From the High Altitude Zip Line Tour to our award-winning adventure parks, High Gravity Adventures offers a thrilling and unforgettable experience amidst the natural beauty of North Carolina’s High Country. One of the most popular activities at HGA is exploring the vertical world in one of our adventure parks, traversing elements, and overcoming aerial obstacles. This guide will help you choose the right adventure park experience and get the most from your upcoming trip to HGA.

Consider the Course Participation Requirements

Foothills Course

Foothills Course - High Gravity Adventures

There are several factors to consider when selecting the right adventure park. First and foremost is age. The Foothills Zip Line Adventure Park is purpose-built for young adventurers ages 4+ and features 13 aerial obstacles and three kid-friendly zip lines, all on a single level right next to the HGA Basecamp. Our always-on continuous belay makes it easy to explore independently and can support adults looking to join in the adventure. Each ticket provides 2hrs of climb and zip time. Guests 18 years and older can purchase a reduced-rate Foothills Companion Ticket to accompany children who do not meet the minimum reach requirement or may need additional assistance in the park.

Blue Ridge Adventure Park

Blue Ridge Adventure Park - High Gravity Adventures

Adventurers ages 7+ can find their thrill in the Blue Ridge Adventure Park featuring three stories of challenges and obstacles that get more difficult the higher you go! Traverse a wide range of aerial terrain, including swinging logs, sky bridges, spider webs, and much more. Challenge yourself on one of the vertical climbing stations and sit back and enjoy the smooth ride on one of our purpose-built rappelling stations. Each ticket provides 3hrs of climb time. A ticketed guest must accompany anyone not meeting the minimum reach requirement of 6’1″ or needing additional assistance.

Whether you choose the Foothills Zip Line Adventure Park or the Blue Ridge Adventure Park, your ticket includes access to our one-of-a-kind Mountain Ninja Course. This ground-based obstacle course will test your strength and agility with two lanes perfect for side-by-side competition. And remember, there is a 265lb maximum allowable individual weight for all ticketed activities. Please review our complete list of participation requirements and other important policies before arriving.
